Little Dell – sleeps 2/3
As the name suggests, Little Dell, once known as the ballroom of Dell Lodge is now freshly renovated and a perfect cosy retreat for two.
On opening up the living area we discovered and carefully restored a beautiful pitch pine floor and great granite fireplace. All on the ground floor there is an open plan living / dining / kitchen area with tall windows overlooking the main back lawn and a wood burning stove keeping it snug. There is a double bedroom and bathroom with shower. The sofa bed in the living area can accomodate a third person.

South Dell
South Dell – sleeps 6
South Dell was once the main kitchen of Dell Lodge. Inside the living room the huge granite surround remains which once housed the cast iron range with bread oven and whisky still.
Parking is available directly outside the cottage and from the entrance hall leads a small kitchen followed by a bathroom with shower. The living / dining room with wood burner and one double bedroom occupy the ground floor with a further two twin bedrooms upstairs in the eaves.

West Dell
West Dell – sleeps 7
West Dell is our largest traditional style cottage and was in fact the first building to occupy the Dell site perhaps as a crofters black house. It has deep-set windows looking out to a wide aspect down the main west lawn.
On the ground floor there is a large open plan living room with wood burning stove / dining / kitchen area, one double bedroom and bathroom with shower. Upstairs in the eaves there is one twin bedroom and one triple, both of which can be configured as small doubles.

East Dell
East Dell – sleeps 5
East Dell is our most secluded cottage, tucked around the corner with a beautiful aspect Eastward across the fields and River Nethy. It has it’s own enclosed garden and ‘sit-ootery’.
Inside on the ground floor you have a cosy combined living / dining / kitchen area with wood burning stove, one double bedroom and a bathroom. Upstairs, in the eaves there is one triple bedroom.

Near Dell
Near Dell – sleeps 6
Near and Far Dell form a later built garden bungalow set in the grounds of the Dell. All on the ground floor, Near Dell is our largest cottage with a big kitchen / dining room and a separate living room. There is one double bedroom, one twin bunkroom and one twin, which can be a second double.
Patio doors lead out onto a sheltered garden surrounded by a beech hedge.

Far Dell
Far Dell – sleeps 6
Far Dell has it’s own enclosed garden surrounded by beech hedge and flanked by a lovely horse chestnut tree.
Occupying about 1/3 of the bungalow, Far Dell is neatly configured with a double bedroom and two twin bunkrooms. A small kitchen and bathroom with shower lead off the west facing living / dining room which opens out into the garden through patio doors.

The Dell Info
Each of our cottages has it’s own private aspect and sleeps between two and seven guests. Four have been converted from the wings of the granite B-listed Dell Lodge c1780 and a further two have been added in a garden bungalow.
Each cottage has their own charm and are currently furnished and equipped to a Visit Scotland 3 star rating. Each has Sky TV, DVD players and a great selection of books and games. There is a drying cupboard in each cottage, heating and hot water are currently electric, measured by a meter and charged at the end of your stay.
We have just installed wood burning stoves into each of the traditional cottages attached to the main house.
