THE Dell OF ABERNETHY

The Dell of Abernethy sits on the edge of the Abernethy forest, 1 mile from the centre of Nethy Bridge, surrounded by river flat grazing and dwarfed by oak and horse chestnut. Our six charming self-catering cottages, set in safe secluded grounds, provide a peaceful escape and a great base for exploring the wilds of the Cairngorm National Park. A labyrinth of forest tracks lead out from the doorstep of the Dell, ideal for wildlife spotting, mountain biking and cross country ski-ing. A 30-minute drive will take you to the top of the Cairngorms, into the heart of Rothiemurchus or up into the wild moor lands en route to the Moray coast beaches.
